Dear Dr. Tom,
Thanks for the birthday card. It's hard to believe I'm that old! I'll never forget my last trip to Chicago for our granddaughter's wedding (as long as I keep my memory). The 2 teeth are still in!
When we arrived at the church, on time, I went to thank the pastor who made the arrangements for me. He shared with me that, at age 10, his 2 front teeth were knocked out by a basketball and the dentist had placed crowns on them. Many years later, just before going to preach on a Sunday morning, they came out. He said he could really relate to what I had been experiencing that day. I really believe God really was taking care of me by putting the right people in my life at the right time. Thanks so much for seeing me so promptly and for the amount of care I received in your office! May God bless you.
